None of you are worrying about the cost of milk. For a few days you talk about the price of eggs or gas because it fills your coffers with donations from people afraid for tomorrow.
None of you are having to choose between medicine and rent.
No real solutions.
You all make the most vulnerable suffer so you get a soundbite.
You don’t live like us, and it shows.
Stop packing every bill with your pet projects.
Stop making promises you have no intention of keeping, just to win votes or rake in donations.Stop handing out tax breaks and deregulations to billion-dollar corporations while everyday Americans get left behind.
We’re tired of watching you play political games while real people struggle.
The world sees us as a nation of spoiled children pointing fingers.
Frankly, they’re not wrong.
The finger-pointing. The name-calling. The grandstanding. It’s all noise, and many of us see right through it.
You were elected to work for us. So do your job.
Stop proving our votes were a mistake.Get up. Show up. Work together. Be part of the solution.
Because if you don’t, we will.
Because when good people do nothing, bad things win.
